Some exciting news for Federation Lacrosse was the recent announcement by the Boston Cannons naming Steve Duffy as an assistant coach.
Just a few of Duffy’s accolades as coach of Waltham include being named the 1999 Boston Globe and Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Coaches Association (EMLCA) Coach of the Year and the 2001 and 2005 Metro West Coach of the Year. In 2001 and 2005, Duffy led his team to the State Semi-Finals and the State Finals, respectively.

In yet another accomplishment by a member of the Federation Lacrosse coaching staff, camp director Tim Jason was recently named as the Eastern Mass High School Assistant Coach of the Year. Thus, adding to the legacy of Federation Lacrosse that you will not find a better coaching staff at any other camp. Coach Jason's resume includes 9 years as an assistant coach at Lincoln-Sudbury High School with the last 5 years as the varsity defensive coordinator, 9 years on the Elite camp staff, and co-director of the Elite Youth Camp for the past 4 years. The Elite Youth Camp's focus as a teaching camp is enhanced through Tim's being an English teacher at LS and co-director Steve Duffy being a history teacher at Waltham High School. Providing the highest level of lacrosse instruction structured and delivered by people who teach every day is a driving force for all Federation Lacrosse Camps and Clinics.
